Sa Coma and surroundings

Sa Coma extends about 1 km along the east coast of Mallorca. Although the first thing you notice is the sandy beach, the village has much more to offer and attracts an international clientele, especially families looking for R + R.

To the north, the small nature park Punta Amer with the viewing point over the coast separates Sa Coma from the extensive tourism infrastructure in Cala Millor, and to the south, the sea-side promenade with its many shops and restaurants connects seamlessly with S´Illot. On foot one can easily walk kilometres alongside the coast. By bike, it is even possible to reach the famous Drach caves in Portocristo (9 km). And by bus, many other locations islandwide.

Many of the hotels in the area are specialized in family holidays and offer an extensive daytime and evening entertainment programme. Alternatively, if you're travelling with younger children, consider visiting the nearby zoo Safari Park (2km) with wild animals from Africa. Fun for everybody is guaranteed at the annual Tourist Festival (Fiesta del Turista) celebrated at the end of September in Cala Millor, Sa Coma and S´Illot.
